Makhos provides staffing services to Indigenous community members to gain meaningful and sustainable employment within industry in Canada. We take the time to ensure our candidates and requesting companies are the best match possible to establish a positive and long-term engagement. Makhos sources prospective candidates working closely with community organizations, colleges, training programs and other critical connections. Following an assessment, bridging plans are created while placement opportunities are researched in parallel. Personnel are then placed with a requesting employer. Follow-up communication and tracking of the individual’s progress is ongoing. This critical element, unique to Makhos, ensures the bridge remains intact and support is available by determining any existing gaps and developing a plan for the spanning of them effectively and efficiently. In other words, we remain visible and supportive long after the “honeymoon” of the hiring is over.
